MEGAN RIVERA
Showcase Fast Pitch Academy VA is proud to welcome Megan Rivera to the coaching staff as our 10U head coach.
A Suffolk, Virginia native and former UVA Wise catcher, Megan brings leadership, energy, and an exceptional understanding of the game to SFA.
A graduate of Nansemond River High School, Megan helped guide her team to multiple postseason runs before continuing her academic and athletic career at UVA Wise, where she earned her degree in Psychology. Her academic background gives her a unique ability to teach both the physical and mental aspects of the game, helping athletes build confidence, awareness, and resilience in competitive environments.
At SFA, Megan will lead our 10U team, focusing on player development, game IQ, and long-term growth, working closely with athletes to refine their mechanics and mindset.
Her experience as a collegiate catcher—and her understanding of the psychology of performance—make her a tremendous addition to our staff and a powerful role model for young players beginning their softball journey.
