PROVEN LEADER

PLAYING CAREER

Jaycee began her softball career at Hofstra University on Long Island, NY where she played three seasons and made an immediate impact. During her time there, she earned Academic All-American honors, was named to the All-Region Team, and competed as part of an All-Conference selection. Her years at Hofstra built the foundation for the rest of her career.

After entering the transfer portal, Jaycee found her new home at The Ohio State University. She finished her career competing in the Big Ten, posting a career .312 batting average, was ranked Top-50 in the NCAA for Toughest Batters to Strikeout, and was recognized as a 2x Big Ten Player of the Week. She was also honored as an All-American Scholar Athlete, balancing academic excellence with competing against the top programs in the nation.

After completing her playing career, Jaycee joined the University of Missouri softball program as a Graduate Assistant Coach, gaining first-hand experience in the Southeastern Conference, the most competitive environment in college athletics.

Jaycee was part of Mizzou’s historic 2024 season, where the Tigers went 48-18, hosted both NCAA Regionals and Super Regionals, and defeated multiple Top-25 programs along the way. Being on staff during such a successful season gave Jaycee the opportunity to contribute at the highest level of softball there is.

Jaycee primarily worked with the outfielders, where she had the privilege of coaching athletes who earned national recognition. Outfielder, Kaylee Lenger (in video) was featured on SportsCenter’s Top 5 Plays, and Outfielder, Alex Honnold was named an NFCA All-American.

During her tenure at Mizzou, Jaycee’s career came under the guidance and mentorship of Larissa Anderson, one of the best college coaches in the game. Working alongside side her at Mizzou, Jaycee was able to study the game through her lens, develop her own coaching philosophy, and see firsthand what it takes to lead at the highest level. Coach Anderson’s mentorship shaped how Jaycee coaches today and influences exactly how she develops her athletes.

Every step of Jaycee’s journey - from trying to get noticed in travel ball, to competing at the college level, to coaching at the highest level there is - has taught her what it really takes to compete at the top.

That’s why Jaycee started SFA VA. To give driven athletes the platform, development, and exposure they need to chase their goals.

Jaycee does not believe in Division 1 or bust - she believes there’s a home for every girl with the right dedication, whether that’s D1, D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO. And for those who may not continue at the college level, the lessons Jaycee teaches - discipline, confidence, work ethic, and resilience - are the same ones that prepare athletes for success in life.

SFA is more than just building softball players. It’s about building competitors, leaders, and young women ready for whatever comes next. If you want to get noticed, developed, and prepared for your future - this is where you start.
